Many times, the smallest changes can make the biggest impact, and we're routinely asked to do simple wheel swaps and other minor modifications. Click here to see the photo album of these little "quickie" projects, and you'll be inspired to have us make similar changes to your favorite models.

| '86 Corvette Indy Show Car | ||||
| Back in 1986, Chevrolet built a revolutionary concept car as a way of showing future design direction for the Corvette. They started with a non-functional car made of clay and painted silver, and then followed it up with two working prototypes in red with assorted changes. Over the course of this project, we will actually build 3 models of the silver concept car. The first will be an all new model based on a 1/25 scale Revell kit. We'll also perform some repairs on a finished 1/25 scale model of the same car from another manufacturer. Finally, we'll build a 1/43 scale resin kit of the famed Corvette Indy. | ||||

| 1934 Packards | ||||
| Our client is a real fan of the '34 Packard, and wants models of each of the different body styles. Franklin Mint obliges with their rendition of the Convertible Sedan, which we will use as a starting point to build replicas of the Coupe and Coupe Convertible. This is the beauty of collecting model cars -- owning all of the vehicles you love without the expense of the real thing. | ||||

| 1957 Chevy Sedan Delivery Custom | ||||
| Our biggest '57 Chevy fan wants to expand his collection with a custom Sedan Delivery based on the Danbury Mint Pro Street car. We will draw inspiration from some examples of full-scale cars, but then take it in a new direction. This one requires a lot of work, but it will be well worth the trip... | ||||

| 1961 Ford Starliner "Old Yeller" | ||||
| We transform an old promo into a replica of our client's 1:1 race car. This one will be a lower-budget build, but it demonstrates the skills we bring to the table in making a truly accurate model, without all of the expensive detail. | ||||

| 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst | ||||
| Here's one that the big model manufacturers have ignored for far too long. Starting with a very rough resin body casting of a base model 300, we will convert it to the Hurst edition, complete with an accurate engine, chassis, wheels, and interior... | ||||

| 1995 Dodge Ram Extended Cab | ||||
| Our client is a big fan of the film Twister, which featured a Dodge Ram extended cab pickup -- a truck that has never been done in scale. We'll combine two 1/18 scale ERTL standard cab models to make the bigger truck, and then add specific details such as the roof marker lights. Then we'll finish it off with a payload of storm-chasing gear for the bed. | ||||

| 1969 Camaro Pro Street | ||||
| The most common question we're asked is "Why did they make the model that way ?" ("they" referring to any model manufacturer). Danbury Mint's Pro Street models are absolute beauties, but most real car folks don't care for all the extra stuff heaped on them. We'll trim a little fat from this '69 Camaro, and refine the look of this drag strip terror. | ||||

| 1957 El Camino | ||||
| Danbury Mint likes to do phantoms -- cars that were never made in real life, but they could have been. The beauty of these types of cars is that there are many different ways to execute the phantom, in terms of options, color choices, etc. In this case, our client was just looking for some minor changes to the DM vision, with some paint work and a wheel swap. We also tweaked the stance and added polished aluminum exhaust tips. | ||||

| 1957 Buick Special 4-door Sedan | ||||
| Manufacturers of both finished diecasts and plastic model kits have a long history of paying homage to the exciting, 2-door, V8-powered, versions of most marques. However, there are very few models ever made to replicate the more common 4-door sedans. This fact has always frustrated our client, who desperately wanted a model of his own 4-door '57 Buick Special. We scratchbuilt (mostly) a model to be used as the master to make a rubber mold, which was then used to produce copies cast in resin. Once the new "kits" are ready, we finished the model in a gray and white two-tone. | ||||
